There are black spots in my home.
Most of the time, black stains are caused by poor ventilation. However, it can also have other causes. Below, we have divided up where the black stains has occurred.

Living room:

  1. If mould / small black spots occur on the walls then it is important to discover where this may be coming from. It is caused by temperature difference from in and outside the house that can not escape.
  2. Does it concern a wall adjacent to the outside wall where possibly a gutter is leaking or blocked, a window frame is defective or there is a large crack in the outside wall? Inform B&B management via the portal with a photo and a clear description of the location of the damp spot/mould and the expected cause.
  3. Does the wall border on a tap, for example of the kitchen, shower or similar? Inform B&B management via the portal with a photo and a clear description of the location of the damp spot/mould and the expected cause.

Bathroom:

  1. Are there small black spots visible on your ceiling? This means you need to ventilate more. It is important to either shower with the door open, or immediately after showering open the door and leave it open. This way the warm air can leave the room. If you have a window or ventilation system, turn it on at all times.
  2. If the mould is already present then you can use HG’s mould spray for this.
  3. Do you see mould forming in the sealant edges of the shower? Then it is important that they are treated immediately with HG Schimmelspray to prevent them from spreading further. CAUTION! you cannot leave this on chrome or other parts. Follow the instructions on the bottle.
Power has been cut off

If your power has gone out in one or more parts of the house, check that all the fuses are still working correctly in the meter box or that the switches are in the correct position. This depends on which fuse box you have. The old-fashioned fuse box still has loose fuses, which need to be replaced if the fuse box is blown. With the modern fuse box, it is a switch that you can put back in place.

If it breaks down or shuts off again immediately, there is probably a problem in your electrical connection and/or appliances.

  1. Check the location of the problem in the house.
  2. Which devices are connected here that could be defective or cause a short circuit?
  3. If it is a proprietary appliance, please remove it from the home.
  4. If it is a device belonging to the owner of the property, you can create a report via the portal with a clear explanation.
  5. Occasionally, when there is a very strong thunderstorm, the fuses may go out. Wait until it is over and then turn everything back on.

  3. Is your key still on the inside of the door and did you lock yourself out with it? Then we unfortunately can not help you with a spare key, you will have to contact the locksmith for that. You can ask for the telephone number via B&B management.
  4. If you have locked yourself out you can contact B&B if we do the management of your house. If we have a spare key you can borrow it within office hours. Outside office hours the service is Є 75,-, provided that we have someone available at that moment. If we don’t have a spare key you have to contact the locksmith.
